Music in Heaven

A notch beyond 
my spirit life,
where fame and glory
and what wealth can bring
are meaningless—
but still I think
and still I care
and still I smile,
and it shows
to those who enter the stream.
I have no wish for her
but that she feels 
my love
wherever she is now.
I try to see.
I try to absorb
what she is going through
and when most I’m still
I share with her 
the music of the spheres.
